Tasmin signs with Chandos

Tasmin Little signs an exclusive contract with Chandos Records. Her highly acclaimed recording of Elgar’s Violin Concerto has quickly become one of the top-selling UK classical releases. Future Chandos releases featuring Tasmin include the Delius Violin Concerto, Delius Double Concerto (with Paul Watkins, cello, both recordings with the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Sir Andrew Davis) and Beethoven Triple Concerto (with Paul Watkins, Howard Shelley and the Orchestra of Opera North). |
Tasmin Little at the Royal Albert Hall

Tasmin Little performs Elgar Violin Concerto at the BBC Proms on 2 August with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Sir Andrew Davis.
Tasmin will also perform the Elgar with the BBC Ulster Orchestra and Jac van Steen on 21 October 2011 and with the RSNO/Sir Andrew Davis on 3 February 2012. |

London Conchord Ensemble have returned from a hugely successful concert at the Library of Congress in Washington. They received two standing ovations from a delighted audience and the music critic at the Washington Post wrote of the ensemble’s ‘luminous sound’, ‘energy’, ‘elegance’ and ‘vibrancy’. |

Conchord at Eton

London Conchord Ensemble is working with Eton College to establish an innovative chamber music series which brings world-class chamber music to the community of Windsor and Eton and also the highest quality of chamber music tuition to the students at the school . The first concert took place on 22 January 2011 and the ensemble were delighted to spend the afternoon giving a workshop on Mendelssohn Piano Trio no.1 in D minor to the students and to perform to a full house later that evening. The evening performance is preceded by a talk by the ensemble on the programme to be performed. Read More

Thomas Carroll and Llyr Williams release their first recital disc together on the Orchid Classics Label in May 2011.

Tasmin Little - Elgar Violin Concerto

Tasmin Little's long awaited and much anticipated recording of Elgar's Violin concert with the RSNO and Sir Andrew Davis on Chandos was released in November 2010, 100 years after the work's first performance. The recording has received huge critical acclaim and a selection of the reviews may be read here.
